JOSEPH STALNAKER

Joseph Stalnaker is an artist and designer from Atlanta, Georgia. He studied design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Sculpture and Printmaking at the University of Alabama. Joseph’s artwork is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art as well as several important private collections. Joseph’s work is inspired by cinema, art, and architecture. In the Nightscape series, he creates architectural portraits with the city as the subject - painstakingly drawn buildings lit from within at night. This series is inspired by Italian neo-realism and the films of Antonioni. Joseph is based in New York City.
